Shop update

I am finally getting my shop updated. But I just have to ask... how do you ladies do it? I thought that with the summer coming I was going to have all kinds of time to do what I love...creating and getting all the ideas that are swimming in my head out. I thought that when school was ending that this was going to be great...while the boys are outside playing, I can get to work on all the ideas and things that I have been wanting to do all year long. What was I thinking???!!! Sounded alot easier in my head! I haven't had time for any kind of creativity. I am amazed at how much some of you get done! Between posting, creating, selling items on Etsy and it seems that in blogland everyone is pretty family oriented. For the most part, I think I am organized and stay on top of things around the house. I try to spend some time during the day doing at least something together with the kids. I believe in making dinner and eating together almost every night of the week. How do I squeeze in anything else? Not to mention all the other things in between. So what I want to know is how you other girls manage your time? Especially those of you with small children. Do you pick a certain day or time of the day that you do your errands, housework, art work, etc. etc.? I am curious and would love some advice because, I have to admit, it felt great to get knee deep in papers, glue, ribbons, and millinery today!!!

Jennifer...your new goodies for your shop look great! Speaking of time...WHAT TIME? It seems with moving and summer there has been no time with crafting. I would love to get all dirty with glitter and glue. Glad you had some time. If I get to craft it's usually in the evenings after everyone's in bed. Then I just stay perpetually tired from staying up late doing what I want to do. Happy Saturday Evening!

Hi Jennifer...I'm laughing because I so often wonder the same thing...when I blog or spend the time to list something on ebay I feel TERRIBLY guilty and usually have a pouting hubby or kids lol. I too thought once school was out I would have more time but the fact is (and I forget this every year) you actually have less, because you have the kids home all day. However, in the end, making memories with them is what you will cherish in the future, not that great blog entry or awesome shop offering. So carry on with your priorities sweet girl, I think you're on the right track :). Your blog and shop are lovely ...and thanks for visiting me, hope the cookies are well received!

Hey Jenn! Yeah, I'm a terrific one to ask, as I've been up since 4:30 am this morning, frantically trying to put together 8 mini albums for a deliver at 10 am Friday morning! HA! It ain't going to happen. In other words, time management, is NOT my strong point. And I don't have little kids either...so really, I'm no help to you at all!
: D

But love, what you've made...those boxes are adorable!

Oh I so get you! I'm lucky because most of the time I just have my 8yr old son with me and when my two step sons come over my mother-in- law watches them. I also cook evey night and all that not so fun stuff. I'm lucky to have such a great supportive hubby who does laundry and dishes. But I still get stressed when I have a bunch of orders. Its much harder than people think to be a work at home mom. If you figure out how to make it all work let me know! By the way your store is lovely!

Jennifer,
Time where does it go? Why do I bite off more than I can chew. But I would not have it any other way when I get home from vac I have to get organized.
I have a fulltime career and a 4 year old so time is precious. It seems like the ting that gets left out is creating. That is what I love the most and I need to fit it back in there~ I try to plan time for the little business and stick to it. But you know how that goes.
I am popping over to your etsy shop because it is too stinkin' cute~
