Today is Heather's Christmas blog party and I am sorry to say that I am not done with my decorating. I am hoping to finish up by today so please check back this week for more. But so far I can share these with you ....
This weekend while going way, way out to the east end of Long Island to get our tree, by accident we came across a fabulous antique shop. Probably one of the nicest I've ever been to. The owner wasn't in but she made these neat little wreaths out of old fire hoses. Isn't it great!?
And, while putting the lights on the tree last night, noticed a little surprise left inside. A perfect little nest. For now, I am leaving it in the tree. But I plan on saving it!

Finding a bird's nest in your Christmas tree brings good fortune and new luck as the I am told. I may just stick a nest in my tree and maybe some good luck with come my way.
