...and, they're off...

My three boys started school yesterday and it went very smoothly! This will be the first and only year that the three of them will be in the same school together. Since it was they're first day back I wanted to make a special "back to school" dinner along with some a carrot cake.See that smudge on the top of the cake? Bet you didn't know that cats like carrot cake too!

Back to School is always FUN! I just did a post on this topic but you have to scroll down my blog a bit to find it now lol) I LOVE your idea on making a special Back to School Dinner!! That probably made them feel extra festive and special. I may have to borrow this idea. :) The cake is cute and fun too. What a good mom you are.

My little girl is not yet old enough for school, so I'm enjoying our time together before she starts. However, when she does go, I'll be doing something like that on the first day each year. I think it's a lovely thing to do :O)

My cat Dudley is a total pain. Doesn't matter if he likes something or not, if I leave it out he'll stick his fangs in it anyway. Most annoying when I have cakes cooling and go off to do something else while they cool!

cats!!!!

:O)

So cute about the cat : ) They grow up so quick don't they. I always have a special treat for my Daugther after her first day of school, this year I baked her brownies. I hope they have a great school year.
