Finally...A swap

Finally, a swap!!!! I was starting to have swap withdrawals! I haven't had the time for one anyway but this one came just in time for me. What's even better about this one is that there will be guest artists and more. Isn't it crazy that I am already thinking about Halloween and what I can make. My boys are already discussing costumes. I hate to rush time but you know it will be here before we know it!I am also super excited about Sadie Lou's new venture..."Lolli Shops". I filled out my application and it was accepted and I can't wait to see what she has in store for us!!!!

Today has been a very strange day. It's been raining since about 10 this morning and dark...so dark that it feels like 8 at night. The thunder hasn't stopped for hours...a great day to stay in. In fact I promised myself that I was going to get alot of work done this weekend and for the most part I am happy to say that I have! I made this little journal the other night and am just in love with it!

I started to fool around with some filters, etc and made it look like this. One of my goals when all the kiddies go back to school is to learn more about photography and photoshop. I am ashamed to say that my husband a photographer and I've never taken advantage of him to teach me...I was never really interested. All I ever took pictures of were the kids. Now I am realizing how much fun it is!

Some more fun things I got to listing in the shop today.
Right now I want to take full of advantage of this dreary storm, curl up on the couch with my boys and watch a movie! Enjoy what's left of your weekend!!!!

Love the ledger journal with the circle of posies. LOVE the filtered photo. How'd you do that? PLEASE PLEASE send some rain to Texas. We're dry as a bone and 104! Our grass is crunchy!

Sweet little journals. And I've been seeing Lollishop everywhere, but I just signed up and got accepted at Glitter and Grunge. And yes, ditto Sarah, send that rain here honey! We need it.

Take care,

The ledge journal is really lovely. Filtered photos are so neat, what a nostalgic look they create for vintage looking pieces. That swap looks like fun, I'm in three at the moment.
