I was going to do a post today on my ironstone collection and as I was taking some pictures I got the sudden urge to go to my favorite antique shop. They have a great assortment from quite a few different vendors. Every time I go, I know I will never come home empty handed. The first thing I found were these little chairs. Aren't they just yummy!? They are old place card holders.Look at the little forget-me-nots tied onto the back...The little velvet seats are in either red, sage green and a pretty pink. I listed some in my shop. I have a ton but am not sure how many I'm willing to let go just yet.
I think they would make cute pin cushions.
Found this cute little metal basket and a girl can never have enough buttons right!
Some of the vendors also make some of their own items. I had seen this little pin cushion the last time I visited and was happy to see it was still there. Also found a ledger book and this cute little music book from the 40's.

My post about ironstone I will save for another day. For now, I'm off to get three dirty little boys in the shower...

Oh my gosh you hit the jack pot! Those chairs are soooo cute!
A charmed life for sure! You stuck gold with all those little chairs! I have eight of them. Mine have seats in pink, aqua, and red velvet! I love them!
I saw one of those little chairs in my favorite junk shop once. I picked it up but then decided to put it back 'cause I already had a bunch of other stuff picked out. Of course, the next time I was there, it was gone. I've wanted one ever since and haven't been able to find one. Guess they're all at that shop you went to!
Well, I'm a dork. Guess I should read past the first line before I write my comment! I see you put those chairs in your etsy shop! Yeah!!!

THose little placecard chairs with the posies are darling. I have seen them pictured on some other blogs, but never knew they were placecard holders. Live and learn! I have looked and hunted and searched but never have been lucky enough to find an old ledger book. Lucky you!
