Ever since I bought those ornaments I've been itching to make my own. So many of the blogs we read are so inspiring and I think that is why creative people love them so. I've been collecting "stuff" for years hoping to use it but not always knowing how. So today I went up in my attic, dug out some of that stuff including some of my own ornaments that I am willing to part with. So far this is what I came up with.
All it took were some tin reflectors (love what Joy did with hers here), spools, tinsel, a pipe cleaner, and the usual ephemera that we all have tons of. They could still use some tweeking but I had a lot of fun making them!

What lovely ornaments..I really like the birdy..great blog!
Thanks so much for visiting me and leaving a sweet comment. Love your cute little ornaments. I totally know what you mean about having all the stuff, but not really knowing what do to with it sometimes. I am constantly inspired by the crafting bloggers and am doing projects I would never have done before I started blogging. Have a great weekend!

I have a bagful of old spools I keep thinking that I will do something with. You have tempted me with these pics.
Are you coming to our "what do you LOVE about your holiday home?" party?
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a message.
Love the pic of your boys in your side bar. As for advice on raising three boys - here it is ... this too shall pass, and don't sweat the small stuff. Oh - and if things get really quiet - it usually means trouble! LOL
Love the ornaments, what a cleaver idea too.
Oh, I LOVE the bird ornament - so sweet!
